![]() Microsoft is fully aware of how much of a premature baby Windows Vista was and had been working hard on Service Pack 1. A service pack would be necessary to make Windows Vista the operating system Microsoft promised it would be. Even hardware support was a problem, especially for printers and sound cards. Yes, it was easier to install and looked much prettier than Windows XP, but there were many kinks to iron out. When Microsoft launched Windows Vista, many users felt it was rushed into production before it was truly ready.
